It’s been over a week since we began 2017 and I yet have not summarized what 2016 meant to me. Overall, I must say that 2016 was a an incredible year if I were to compare it to 2015. I got to travel to many different places this year; London, New York and a few beautiful places in Spain such as Seville, Granada, Cordoba and Alicante. Both trips were amazing experiences that I wish to repeat again soon.
When it comes to my job and financial year, I must say that I can’t complain here either. I’ve been working at a Mexican restaurant for two years now and I’ve been able to pay for college and my travel expenses with the revenue that I generated here. I was also (and finally) introduced earlier in 2016 to the world of online marketing. This last thing is what inspired me the most to create my own blog. Being able to apply what I learned in the real world to my own personal blog sounded like a cool idea. Right?
I’m 19 years old. Therefore I’m still a young kid who has student obligations. Yes, I go to college. And yes, I’m actually doing good in college! I mean, I don’t have a GPA worth being jealous of but considering that I have two jobs, one beautiful but demanding girlfriend who needs to be loved and some crazy but caring friends, I can’t complain either!
2016, I can’t complain. You were good to me this year. I’ve been loved and I’ve also loved my people. You gave me the treat of getting to know the world a little better. You allowed me to know myself some more, and I’m grateful for this.
Now, let’s make 2017 even better. For real. I have tickets to Cancun already, I mean it, I want 2017 to be even better.
